IT&T SIG 2010 Election Update
The IT & Telecom SIG is pleased to announce the newly elected Board officers for 2010!
Vice Chair - Andy Maxymillian, PMP
Mr. Maxymillian has been involved with the IT&T SIG for the past nine years and has served on the IT&T SIG Board of Directors as VP Operations for the past five years. He played an integral part in the re-organization efforts that took place during 2007-2008 in order to help the SIG adopt a structure more in line with its' strategic efforts to provide greater member value. Andy was part of the IT&T SIG team that traveled to Cairo last year to work with the PMI MENA Chapter on P2P 2008 and will be making the trip again this year for P2P 2009 as well.
VP Operations - Shobhna Raghupathy MS, PMP
Ms. Raghupathy is an experienced volunteer leader, who previously served as the Vice President for PMI Atlanta. She has presented at a number of Leadership Meetings and Global Congress events in both the US and Asia Pacific. Most recently she gave a talk at PMI's Global Congress in Orlando on Emotional Intelligence. She also is a graduate of the PMI's Leadership Institute Masters program.
VP Finance - Mark Lurch, PMP
Mr. Lurch has a long history of volunteer activism, both with PMI and outside as well. He has previously held terms as VP Finance, Vice Chair, Chair and Past Chair for the IT&T SIG and he also serves on the Board of PMI's Diversity SIG. His work while leading the SIG transformed the organization into the structure, which has allowed the SIG to expand its global outreach initiative as well as member services in a way that has helped cement the IT&T SIG as one of the leading edge components within PMI.
VP Technology - Luis Garcia, PMP, CSM
Mr. Garcia stepped into the VP Technology spot during 2008 and has completely transformed the SIG's use of technology. His work has led to a complete redesign of the SIG site as well as established the SIG's Twitter, Flickr, and Vimeo feeds. While the entire Board works in the field of IT&Telecom, Mr. Garcia's vision has helped the SIG embrace these new tools in a way that is unlike any other SIG within PMI.
Please join us in welcoming our new and returning Board members!
