Juergen Oschadleus
Jürgen is an international speaker, trainer and consultant on communications, leadership and project management.
His years of strategic consulting with ProjectWise and Booz•Allen & Hamilton (South Africa), along with his systems deployment projects for Concur Technologies UK, CPA/Advantage and the SAS Institute have taken him into numerous Fortune 1000 companies across southern Africa, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. In 2001 he established Act Knowledge, which focuses on the development of communication and leadership capabilities within individuals, projects and organisations. Since 2006 Jürgen has also been linked with the global Valense network of organisational consultants, and is now the Managing Partner of Asia/Oceania region.
Jürgen's training and consulting work takes him around the globe. His "Communicate with Influence" seminars have received acclaim from participants on five continents, and his popularity as a keynote speaker is growing. Jürgen's book, Heart of Influence, provides a solid foundation for students interested in the principles and strategies of influential communication and stakeholder management. He was responsible for writing the Communications Management Planning and Human Resources Management Planning components of the Project Management Institute's online elearning program on PMBOK® Third Edition, and is involved in a similar capacity in the 4th edition. From 2008 he also serves on PMI's Registered Education Provider Advisory Group.
Jürgen holds a Masters degree in History and an MBA in International Project Management and Organisational Development, as well as a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment. He is DiSC and SDI-accredited, an Advanced Toastmaster (Gold), and an active member of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Sydney chapter.
Jürgen is not only a speaker and trainer, but also a project practitioner, who has attained formal accreditation as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) from PMI. He is the Course Coordinator and Facilitator for the Project Management and Supply Chain Management courses that form part of the Masters of Business & Technology program at the University of New South Wales, and oversees the Project Management course in the Masters of Public Health Administration at the University of Sydney.
Jürgen lives in Sydney, with his wife and two children. When not working he plays and coaches soccer in his local league.
