Mark Sherry
A serial entrepreneur is the best way to describe Mark Sherry. He is actively engaged in five separate and distinct businesses. He is a co-creator of a game called Things, which is now licensed to Hasbro and has sold over ½ million copies worldwide with sales on a rapid incline. He is part owner in a company that has developed a new way to manufacture explosives and another company that creates software for the mining industry. He owns a successful A&W franchise and he is also one of three partners in Stroma Service Consulting Inc. (Stroma). Within Stroma Mark manages the ITSM division that provides ITIL/ISO 20000 training, consultancy and solutions across North America.
Mark is an experienced ITIL/ISO practitioner and has worked in all aspects of the field delivering both consulting and training to customers globally. He has acted as a project manager or project director over the last nine years helping over 25 customers implement ITIL/ISO best practices. Mark's professional focus at Stroma is to deliver strategic and tactical services to private and public sector clients that enables them to see real improvements in service while gaining efficiencies in delivery. He is driven to make organizations better service providers through continuous improvements.
Mark comes from a business background and possesses an MBA from the University of Ottawa, a MA from Central Michigan University, and a BComm from McMaster University. He is an ITIL (v3) Expert and holds the Consultant's Certificate in ISO 20000.
