Project of the Year Nomination Procedure
Nominators must have personal knowledge of the project and document its significance.
- All supporting nominations for the Award shall be submitted electronically.
- For a nomination, one person must take the lead and include all documentation in the attachment. This person shall be known as the Lead Nominator.
- The Lead Nominator will provide a statement of no more than one (1) page to include:
- Length of the Lead Nominator's association with, or visibility into, the project nominated.
- The Lead Nominator's relationship to the project, e.g., project stakeholder, Client/Owner employee.
- Frequency of the Lead Nominator's observations during the project's lifecycle.
- Description/documentation of the specific reasons for which the project is being nominated.
- Statement of recommendation for the award.
- Nomination will include one paragraph that summarizes the principle reason for which this award is recommended to be given.
Guidelines
- Consistency with the PMBOK® Guide must be clearly delineated in the submitted materials.
- The entire nomination package may be no more than 5 pages in length. Any pages submitted beyond the prescribed limit will not be evaluated. Submittals shall be in English.
- Nomination by the Project Manager is permitted.
- The nominator must submit the complete nomination package electronically at any time during the year to the Manager, IT & T SIG Project of the Year Award using the link below.
