Challenges of a PgMP

One of the key missions of a Program Manager is to ensure projects deliverable will add value and benefits to the program outcomes, and initiate projects within the Program Scope during Program Initiation. Since the introduction of PgMP in October, 2007, I have been asked by many a similar question....How can we identify initial projects that fall into the define Program Scope, and evaluate its potential benefit toward the Program?

This Webinar and the article of the same title published is not intend to be the answer to the above question, but some thoughts that I have had and ways that I have been using since managing Programs in the early 90 to identify projects within the program scope, i.e. the assigned mission boundary of a Corporate Strategic Vision.

With this Webinar, seasoned audience will be able to develop the framework between the 3 different management themes used in Program management, and understand the differences between multi-projects management and program management.

The last 38 years had served a number of International Organizations including IBM, DEC, Unisys, Tandem, Bell Canada, Andersen Consulting, ANZ Banking Group and Bank of Montreal holding senior management positions in Technology related services. His career covered the five major continents around the world holding senior management positions as Director, Assistant Vice President, and Vice President.
